About This Role
Rp Nagbal Higher Sec. School in Srinagar North, Srinagar, Jammu And Kashmir invites applications for the position of PGT Islamic Studies Teacher. As a key member of the teaching staff, the successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Islamic Studies to students from class 9 to 12.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Islamic Studies to students from class 9 to 12, following the syllabus prescribed by the JKBOSE.
- Prepare and deliver lesson plans, assignments, and assessments to ensure students achieve academic excellence in Islamic Studies.
- Conduct board exam coaching and mentor students to achieve high scores in Islamic Studies.
- Develop and implement innovative teaching methods to engage students and promote active learning.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and assessment results.
- Collaborate with other teachers to develop and implement curriculum reforms in Islamic Studies.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings to discuss student progress and address parental concerns.
- Assist in the evaluation of student work and provide constructive feedback.
- Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive school culture.
Required Qualifications
- A Master's degree in Islamic Studies or a related field (M.A. Islamic Studies) from a recognized university.
- A B.Ed degree from a recognized university, with a minimum of 3 years of teaching experience.
- Preference will be given to candidates who have cleared the TET/CTET exam.
