Qualifications
B.Ed or D.El.Ed mandatory, with a postgraduate degree preferred. Candidates should possess a strong background in sports science and physical training. TET/CTET certification is a plus, though not required.
Responsibilities
Lead the physical education program at Presentation Convent Hr Sec School, coordinating curriculum design and activity planning across all grades. Oversee sports facilities, ensuring maintenance and safety standards are met. Manage a team of support staff, delegating duties and monitoring performance. Develop inter-school competition strategies, representing the school in local leagues. Collaborate with school administration to integrate physical wellness initiatives into the broader educational framework. Prepare reports on student progress and program effectiveness for senior management. Organize workshops for faculty on health and fitness best practices. Maintain accurate records of equipment, injuries, and attendance.
Compensation
Rs.30,000 – Rs.50,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
Experience
Minimum 2 years in a similar leadership role within a school setting. Proven track record of managing sports programs and leading teams.
