Job Description
Responsibilities
Design and conduct engaging Physical Education (PE) classes tailored to students' developmental stages, ensuring age-appropriate activities. Develop and implement structured sports programs, including team games, individual sports, and fitness drills, while maintaining safety standards.
Incorporate modern teaching techniques to enhance student participation and motivation in PE lessons. Collaborate with other teachers to align PE activities with the school’s broader curriculum and co-curricular goals.
Monitor students’ physical fitness levels and provide constructive feedback to encourage healthy habits. Organize school sports events and competitions, ensuring fair play and adherence to rules.
Qualifications and Experience
Hold a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) degree. Possess a graduate degree in Physical Education or a related field to teach effectively.
Two years of teaching experience, preferably in Physical Education or a related subject, is required. Familiarity with local sports infrastructure and community engagement would be an asset.
Salary and Employment Details
The selected candidate will be offered a monthly salary ranging from Rs.14,000 to Rs.24,000. This role is a full-time position based in Srinagar North, Jammu And Kashmir, at Birla Open Minds International School.
