PRT Social Science Teacher Position at Kashmir Harvard Educational Institute
Kashmir Harvard Educational Institute in Srinagar North seeks a dedicated PRT Social Science Teacher to engage students with curriculum-based social studies programs. This role requires a strong grasp of historical, political, economic, and cultural frameworks relevant to regional and global contexts. Your teaching will emphasize critical analysis, civic education, and interdisciplinary connections, ensuring students develop analytical skills aligned with school syllabi.
You will design lesson plans that integrate local history, governance, and socio-economic themes, often using case studies from Jammu & Kashmir’s unique political and cultural landscape. Field trips, guest lectures, and interactive discussions will supplement classroom instruction, fostering engagement with real-world applications. Assessment will include project-based evaluations, debates, and written responses to reinforce conceptual understanding.
A B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree is mandatory, with a graduate degree in Social Science or related fields preferred. TET/CTET certification is advantageous but not mandatory. Two years of teaching experience, preferably in Social Science or related subjects, will be highly valued. Your ability to adapt teaching methods for diverse student backgrounds and promote inclusive learning will be critical.
