Position summary
Dr. P.l. International School in Purbi Tundi, Dhanbad is looking for a full‑time PGT Biology Teacher. The role involves delivering the Biology curriculum to senior secondary classes, preparing students for board examinations and fostering a scientific outlook in a co‑educational environment.
Core duties
Design and deliver engaging Biology lessons for classes XI and XII, aligning with the CBSE syllabus and incorporating practical laboratory work.
Create and evaluate assignments, quizzes, projects and model test papers to monitor student progress.
Organise and supervise laboratory experiments, ensuring safety protocols and proper usage of equipment.
Mentor students on academic and career pathways in life sciences, guiding project work and competitive exam preparation.
Collaborate with fellow faculty to integrate interdisciplinary approaches and participate in school events, parent‑teacher meetings and staff development programmes.
Qualification and experience
Post‑graduate degree in Biology or a related science discipline.
B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is mandatory; CTET/TET preferred.
Minimum two years of teaching experience at the senior secondary level, preferably in a school following the CBSE board.
Compensation and location
Salary: Rs.35,000 - Rs.50,000 per month.
