About This Role
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic PGT Physics Teacher to join our faculty at D.m. Public School in Dhanbad, Jharkhand. As a key member of our science team, you will be responsible for teaching Physics to students in grades 9-12 and contributing to the development of our curriculum.
What You Will Do
- Teach Physics to students in grades 9-12, using innovative and engaging methods to promote deep understanding and critical thinking.
- Develop and implement lesson plans, assessments, and evaluations that align with our curriculum and meet the needs of our students.
- Conduct experiments and demonstrations to illustrate complex Physics concepts and make them relatable to students' everyday lives.
- Provide individualized support to students who require extra help, and facilitate discussion and collaboration among students to foster a sense of community.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide initiatives, such as science fairs, competitions, and outreach programs.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in Physics education and incorporate them into your teaching practices.
- Attend staff meetings and contribute to the development of our school's policies and procedures.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance your teaching skills and knowledge.
Eligibility Criteria
- B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. degree with a specialization in Physics or a related field.
- TET/CTET certification is preferred but not mandatory.
- Minimum three years of experience in teaching Physics at the high school level.
- Strong knowledge of Physics concepts and ability to teach students of varying abilities and learning styles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
