Strategic responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging Mathematics lessons for primary and upper primary students at G M Public School. Align daily teaching with school-wide learning goals and local academic standards.
Lead a small Mathematics team to plan monthly themes and share resources across classes. Mentor new teachers and conduct demonstration lessons to raise instructional quality.
Analyze student assessment data to identify learning gaps and adjust teaching strategies. Introduce simple math labs and real-life problem-solving activities that connect classroom concepts to Dhanbad’s local context.
Organize inter-house Mathematics competitions and parent math fairs to strengthen community engagement. Represent the Mathematics department in school academic council meetings.
What you bring
Graduation in Mathematics or Education with B.Ed/D.El.Ed from a recognized institution. Minimum 2 years of classroom teaching experience in primary or middle sections.
Familiarity with Jharkhand’s school curriculum and comfort teaching in Hindi and English mediums. Prior leadership in subject planning or teacher mentoring will be an advantage.
Career trajectory and growth
Grow from PRT Mathematics Teacher to Head of Department within three years based on performance. Attend regional subject conferences and receive support for UGC-NET or Ph.D. aspirations.
