About This Role
D.m. Public School in Dhanbad, Jharkhand is seeking a skilled and experienced Biology Teacher to join our faculty team. As a TGT Biology Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching Biology to students in class VI to VIII. Key Responsibilities
As a TGT Biology Teacher at D.m. Public School, your key responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and delivering lesson plans for Biology classes
- Conducting experiments and demonstrations to illustrate biological concepts
- Marking and assessing student assignments and projects
- Providing feedback and guidance to students to improve their understanding of Biology
- Collaborating with colleagues to develop and implement the school's curriculum
- Participating in staff meetings and contributing to the school's academic and administrative decisions
- Maintaining accurate records of student progress and attendance
- Assisting in the preparation of exams and assessments
- Engaging in ongoing professional development to stay updated on the latest developments in Biology and teaching methodologies
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this role, you must possess the following qualifications:
- A postgraduate degree in Biology (M.Sc.) or a related field
- A B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. degree to teach in a school setting
- A TET or CTET certification is preferred but not mandatory
- At least 3 years of experience in teaching Biology in a school setting
