TGT Sanskrit Teacher Position at Dr. P.L. International School in Dhanbad
Dr. P.L. International School in Purbi Tundi, Dhanbad, seeks a dedicated TGT Sanskrit Teacher to enrich the academic curriculum with classical language and cultural heritage. The role involves teaching Sanskrit to students in Class 6 to 12, fostering deep engagement with Vedic texts, grammar, and literary traditions while aligning with modern educational standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct engaging Sanskrit classes, covering grammar, composition, and classical poetry, ensuring alignment with CBSE syllabus.
2. Develop and implement lesson plans that integrate Sanskrit with contemporary education, promoting critical thinking and linguistic precision.
3. Assess students’ progress through regular evaluations, using traditional and modern assessment techniques.
4. Collaborate with the academic team to design extracurricular activities, such as recitation competitions, cultural festivals, and workshops on Sanskrit.
5. Maintain a well-organized classroom environment, encouraging respect for Vedic values and ethical teachings.
6. Participate in school events, including inter-house competitions and parent-teacher interactions, to promote Sanskrit as a living language.
7. Keep updated on educational trends, Sanskrit research, and teaching methodologies to enhance classroom effectiveness.
8. Assist in organizing cultural programs, such as Sanskrit recitals, storytelling sessions, and workshops for teachers and parents.
To qualify, the candidate must hold a postgraduate degree in Sanskrit with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. A minimum of two years of teaching experience in Sanskrit or related subjects is required. While TET/CTET certification is preferred, it is not mandatory for this role.
