Role Summary
As a senior science department role at D.m. Public School, Dhanbad, Jharkhand, we are looking for a dedicated and experienced TGT Science Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Science to students, leading the Science department, and mentoring junior staff members. They will also be expected to contribute to the development of the curriculum, improve board results, and participate in school events.
Day-to-Day Duties
- Develop and implement the Science curriculum for classes VI to X.
- Teach Science to students and evaluate their progress.
- Lead the Science department and mentor junior staff members.
- Improve board results and academic achievement of students.
- Participate in school events and activities related to Science.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a holistic education.
- Develop and maintain a positive learning environment in the Science lab.
- Manage the Science lab and ensure that equipment and materials are in good condition.
- Plan and implement co-curricular activities related to Science.
Required Qualifications
The ideal candidate should have a post-graduate degree in Science (M.Sc) with a B.Ed. degree. A NET or SET qualification is preferred. They should have at least 3 years of experience in teaching Science to students. A TET or CTET qualification is not required but is preferred.
