Day-to-Day Duties
As a TGT Sanskrit Teacher at swami Vivekananda Gurukulam, Dhalbhumgarh, you will be responsible for:
- Developing and implementing the Sanskrit curriculum for Classes 6-10
- Mentoring junior staff and guiding them in teaching Sanskrit literature and grammar
- Conducting regular board exams and analyzing results to improve teaching methods
- Coordinating with the principal to prepare for board exams and other academic events
- Maintaining accurate records of student progress and performance
- Collaborating with colleagues to develop and implement new teaching methods and materials
- Participating in parent-teacher meetings and maintaining open communication with parents
- Staying up-to-date with the latest developments in Sanskrit literature and education
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this position, you must have:
- A postgraduate degree in Sanskrit or a related subject (M.A., M.Com, M.Sc)
- A B.Ed. degree or D.El.Ed. with at least 5 years of experience in teaching Sanskrit
- A strong preference for NET or SET qualifications in Sanskrit
- A thorough knowledge of the Sanskrit curriculum and teaching methods
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
