What You Will Do
As a TGT Social Science Teacher, your primary responsibility will be to teach Social Science to students from classes VI to X. Your duties will include:
- Developing and teaching engaging lesson plans that integrate technology and traditional teaching methods
- Using smart boards to create interactive lessons and presentations
- Collaborating with colleagues on Google Classroom to share resources and best practices
- Assessing student progress through our LMS and providing regular feedback
- Integrating digital tools and resources into your teaching to enhance the learning experience
- Developing and implementing projects that promote critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Communicating with parents and guardians through regular progress reports and parent-teacher meetings
- Participating in school-wide initiatives and professional development programs to improve teaching and learning
Required Qualifications
To be eligible for this role, you must possess the following qualifications:
- Post-graduate degree in Social Science or related field
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree
- 2 years of teaching experience in a school setting
- Strong understanding of Social Science curriculum and pedagogy
- Ability to use digital tools and technologies to enhance teaching and learning
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
