About This Role
Day-to-Day Duties
- Plan and deliver mathematics lessons to students from grades 1 to 8.
- Develop and implement curriculum-aligned lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to improve their understanding of mathematics concepts.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide mathematics programs.
- Utilize technology to enhance teaching and learning experiences.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings to discuss student progress and address concerns.
- Stay up-to-date with curriculum developments and best practices in mathematics education.
Day-to-day interactions with students, teachers, and parents are an essential part of this role.
Required Qualifications
To be considered for this position, you must possess the following qualifications:
- Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) from a recognized institution.
- A strong understanding of curriculum requirements for grades 1 to 8 in mathematics.
- Experience in teaching mathematics to students from grade 1 to 8.
- A valid B.T.C. and B.Ed. is a must.
