Evs (NTT) Vacancy in Hazaribag, Hazaribagh, Jharkhand
PRAGYAN PUBLIC SCHOOL Jharkhand
Job Description
Why Apply Here
Pragyan Public School Jharkhand offers a stable, community-focused environment in Hazaribag where teachers see their work reflected in student progress every day. The school runs a nurturing NTT program that values practical environmental studies over rote learning, giving Evs teachers the chance to shape young minds through hands-on projects. Teachers here work with small, supportive classes and receive immediate feedback from both students and coordinators.
Role Summary
The NTT Evs Teacher will plan and deliver age-appropriate environmental studies lessons for nursery and toddler sections, aligning activities with the school’s thematic curriculum. Responsibilities include creating low-cost teaching aids, organizing nature walks, and maintaining a child-friendly eco-corner in each classroom. Collaboration with senior teachers ensures continuity across grades.
What You Will Do
Prepare monthly Evs themes using local examples from Hazaribag’s parks and markets.
Conduct daily circle-time discussions on weather, plants, and animals with picture cards.
Organize simple experiments—seed germination in cotton, water absorption by soil—using classroom materials.
Take students on quarterly nature walks around the school campus and nearby green patches.
Create take-home activity sheets that parents can complete with children.
Maintain a small indoor garden in each NTT room with help from students.
Attend weekly planning meetings to align Evs topics with Hindi and math themes.
Keep anecdotal records of each child’s curiosity and participation in Evs activities.
Who Can Apply
Candidates must be graduates with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed and at least three years of preschool or early primary teaching experience. Familiarity with environmental concepts at the nursery level and comfort with storytelling in simple Hindi or regional languages are essential. Prior work in Jharkhand schools is an advantage.
Salary and Benefits
Monthly salary ranges from Rs.18,000 to Rs.25,000 based on experience and qualifications. Benefits include free school transport from Hazaribagh city to campus, subsidized meals in the staff cafeteria, and an annual festival bonus. Professional development support covers local workshops on early-childhood environmental education.
