Role
Vivekanand Vidyalaya seeks a PRT English Teacher to lead classroom instruction, manage lesson plans, and support curriculum development. The role requires full-time commitment in a dynamic school environment.
Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging English lessons for grades 6-10, incorporating local context and cultural references. Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and collaborate with senior teachers on interdisciplinary projects. Maintain accurate attendance and report records, and participate in faculty meetings and school events.
Qualification
Graduate degree required; B.Ed or D.El.Ed mandatory. TET/CTET preferred but not compulsory. Candidates must hold a valid teaching certificate and demonstrate proficiency in English language instruction.
Experience
Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in a school setting, with a proven track record of improving student outcomes. Experience in Barhi or similar rural settings is advantageous.
Salary
Rs.14,000 - Rs.20,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
