About This Role
Mdav School, a reputable educational institution in Karmatanr, Jamatra, Jharkhand, is seeking a qualified PGT Accountancy Teacher to join its faculty. As a PGT Accountancy Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students in Accountancy, developing engaging lesson plans, and assessing student progress. Key Responsibilities
1. Teach and mentor students in Accountancy, using effective teaching methods and resources.
2. Develop and implement engaging lesson plans, aligned with Mdav School's curriculum and standards.
3. Assess student progress, using a variety of assessment techniques, and provide constructive feedback.
4. Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
5. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and improve curriculum and instructional programs.
6. Stay up-to-date with developments in Accountancy and pedagogy, and incorporate best practices into teaching.
7. Participate in school events, such as parent-teacher conferences and open houses.
8. Provide support and guidance to students, as needed.
9. Perform other duties, as assigned by the school administration.
Who Can Apply
Must Have:
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification
- TET/CTET certification (not mandatory for this role)
- Postgraduate degree in Commerce or related field
- 2 years of experience as a PGT Accountancy Teacher
Good to Have:
- Experience in teaching Accountancy at the secondary or senior secondary level
- Familiarity with the CBSE/ICSE curriculum and assessment strategies
- Ability to use technology, such as learning management systems and educational software
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Skills
- Strong understanding of Accountancy concepts and principles
- Ability to develop and implement engaging lesson plans
- Experience with curriculum development and implementation
- Strong assessment and evaluation skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Familiarity with English language and literature
