Pedagogy and Tools
As an Economics Teacher at Mdav School, you will be expected to design and deliver engaging lessons that cater to the diverse learning needs of students. You will also be responsible for integrating technology into your teaching practices, using tools such as online simulations, interactive presentations, and digital assessments.
Day-to-Day Duties
- Teach Economics to students in classes 11 and 12
- Prepare and deliver lesson plans, assessments, and evaluations
- Use technology to create engaging and interactive lessons
- Conduct remedial classes for students who require extra support
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development
- Assess student progress and provide feedback
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school policies
- Participate in school events and exhibitions that promote Economics education
Required Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must possess a postgraduate degree in Economics from a recognized university. A B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree is also required. Preference will be given to candidates who have cleared the TET or CTET.
