PRT Art And Craft Teacher Job in Jamatra, Jharkhand | School Recruitment
Role Summary
Mdav School in Jamatra, Jharkhand invites applications for a full-time PRT Art And Craft Teacher Vacancy in Jamatra. The role is focused on nurturing creativity among the student community in Jamatra, Karmatanr, and surrounding areas through engaging art and craft sessions.
Your Students
You will teach students from Grades 1 to 5 at Mdav School. The children come from diverse backgrounds across Jamatra and nearby villages. Many are first-generation learners who discover their artistic talents through structured art activities.
What You Will Do
Plan weekly Art And Craft Teaching Job lessons aligned with the school curriculum for primary classes. Prepare age-appropriate projects using low-cost, locally available materials to keep costs manageable for families. Conduct daily 40-minute sessions that blend drawing, painting, collage, and 3D crafts to build fine motor skills.
Organize monthly art exhibitions within the school to showcase student work. Collaborate with other teachers to integrate art into festivals like Diwali, Holi, and local tribal celebrations. Maintain a classroom stock of basic supplies such as paper, scissors, glue, and colors for uninterrupted learning.
Document student progress through portfolios and share feedback with parents during PTMs. Encourage participation from shy learners by pairing them with confident peers in group activities. Keep the art corner in each classroom updated with rotating displays of student creations.
Eligibility Criteria
Graduate in any discipline from a recognized university. Must hold a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree to teach at the primary level. Prior experience as a PRT Art And Craft Teacher in Jamatra, Jharkhand for at least 2 years is required.
