Key Responsibilities
1. Plan and teach computer science lessons aligned with the school’s curriculum for primary classes.
2. Conduct practical sessions on basic programming, typing, and digital literacy.
3. Maintain classroom discipline and ensure safe use of computer lab equipment.
4. Prepare teaching aids and visuals to simplify complex concepts for young learners.
5. Organize inter-house coding competitions and tech fairs for students.
6. Track student progress through simple assessments and portfolios.
7. Collaborate with senior teachers to integrate technology across subjects.
8. Attend staff meetings and contribute to curriculum review discussions.
9. Support school events such as science exhibitions and parent-teacher interactions.
Required Qualifications
Must Have
Graduation in Computer Science or related field from a recognized university
B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree with specialization in Computer Science
Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in primary or middle school
Familiarity with Windows, basic programming tools, and educational software
Willingness to work in a rural school environment
Good to Have
CTET or TET qualification
Experience in conducting coding workshops for children
Knowledge of regional languages for effective communication
Skills We Value
Strong communication skills in Hindi and English
Ability to simplify technical topics for young learners
Patience and creativity in classroom management
Basic troubleshooting of computer lab hardware and software
