Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced and skilled PRT Social Science Teacher to join our team at Mdav School in Karmatanr, Jamatra, Jharkhand. As a senior member of our faculty, you will be responsible for leading the Social Science department, mentoring junior staff, and overseeing the implementation of the curriculum.
What You Will Do
- Develop and implement engaging Social Science curriculum for students of Mdav School
- Teach Social Science subjects to students in grades 6-10
- Mentor and guide junior staff members in developing their teaching skills
- Analyze board results and provide recommendations for improvement
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure integrated learning
- Develop and maintain relationships with parents and community members
- Participate in school events and contribute to extracurricular activities
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to school decision-making processes
- Develop and implement innovative teaching methods to enhance student learning outcomes
Required Qualifications
- B.Ed degree from a recognized university
- Minimum 5 years of teaching experience in Social Science
- NET or SET qualification in Social Science (preferred)
- Good knowledge of Jharkhand state syllabus and curriculum
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a team and lead by example
