Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver lessons on Chemistry to students in a classroom setting
- Develop and implement curriculum-aligned teaching materials and resources
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to improve learning outcomes
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver interdisciplinary projects
- Conduct experiments and demonstrations to illustrate complex Chemical concepts
- Develop and implement strategies to promote student engagement and motivation
- Provide support to students with special needs or learning difficulties
- Stay updated with the latest developments in the field of Chemistry education
Eligibility Criteria
Must Have
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree from a recognized university
- Post-graduate degree in Chemistry or related subject
- Teaching experience of at least 2 years in a high school setting
- Valid TET or CTET certification (not mandatory but preferred)
Good to Have
- Experience in teaching Chemistry to students at the high school level
- Familiarity with the curriculum and syllabus of the high school board
- Knowledge of educational technology and its applications in the classroom
Preferred Skills
- Strong subject matter expertise in Chemistry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities
- Willingness to take on additional responsibilities as needed
