About This Role
We are looking for an experienced and dedicated TGT English Teacher to join our team at Mdav School in Karmatanr, Jamatra, Jharkhand. As a TGT English Teacher, you will be responsible for designing and delivering engaging English language lessons to students in grades 6-10. You will work closely with the school administration and other teachers to ensure that students meet their academic goals and develop a strong foundation in English literature and language.
Day-to-Day Duties
- Plan and deliver English language lessons to students in grades 6-10
- Prepare and administer English language assessments and evaluations
- Develop and implement English language learning materials and resources
- Collaborate with other teachers to plan and implement English language curriculum
- Communicate with parents and guardians through regular progress reports and meetings
- Participate in school-wide professional development and training programs
- Participate in extracurricular activities and events that promote English language learning
- Supervise students during English language club activities and events
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and grades
Required Qualifications
To be considered for this TGT English Teacher position, you must have a Bachelor's degree in English or a related field, with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a similar role is required, preferably in a school setting. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience teaching English language and literature to students in grades 6-10. TET or CTET certification is preferred but not required.
