Day-to-Day Duties
As a TGT Physical Education Teacher at Mdav School, you will be responsible for:
- Developing and implementing the Physical Education curriculum for classes IX to XII
- Mentoring junior staff members and guiding them in lesson planning and execution
- Coordinating with the Sports Director to organize school sports events and tournaments
- Conducting board exams and maintaining accurate records of student performance
- Participating in staff meetings and contributing to the development of school policies
- Collaborating with other departments to promote holistic education
- Conducting parent-teacher meetings to discuss student progress
- Maintaining a safe and hygienic environment for Physical Education activities
Required Qualifications
To be eligible for this position, you should have:
- A B.Ed degree with at least 5 years of teaching experience in a school setting
- Preference will be given to candidates with NET or SET qualification
- Strong knowledge of Physical Education curriculum and pedagogy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
