Role Summary
The NTT Mathematics Teacher at Grizzly Vidyalaya In Tilaiya Dam,koderma will plan, deliver, and assess mathematics lessons for young learners in the Nursery to Upper Kindergarten levels. Experience in early childhood education and mathematics pedagogy is essential to create a strong foundation in numbers, shapes, and logical thinking.
Who You Will Teach
You will work with diverse groups of children aged 3 to 6 years, many from nearby villages around Tilaiya Dam. The classroom includes learners with varying readiness levels, requiring flexible teaching approaches that keep every child engaged with mathematics.
What You Will Do
Prepare and conduct daily mathematics activities using stories, games, and hands-on materials to introduce counting, patterns, and basic shapes.
Use simple, clear language and visual aids to explain concepts so that all children, including those who may need extra support, understand.
Observe each child’s progress in early numeracy and maintain brief records to share with parents during informal updates.
Collaborate with NTT team members to align mathematics themes with the school’s theme-based curriculum.
Assist in creating low-cost teaching aids from local materials found near Kodarma for counting and sorting exercises.
Support children with mild learning difficulties by breaking tasks into smaller, manageable steps with patience.
Encourage parental involvement by suggesting home-based mathematics activities using everyday objects.
Participate in monthly teacher meetings to discuss student needs and refine early mathematics strategies.
Required Qualifications
Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university.
B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification with specialization in early childhood education.
Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in pre-primary or lower primary settings.
Familiarity with play-way and activity-based learning methods preferred.
Preferred Skills
Warm, patient, and encouraging demeanor to build confidence in young learners.
Strong communication skills in Hindi and basic English to interact with children and parents.
Ability to differentiate instruction for children with diverse learning needs in a classroom setting.

Salary and Benefits
