Daily Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging Accountancy lessons tailored to students’ learning needs. Prepare detailed lesson plans focusing on profit analysis, financial statements, and taxation basics. Use interactive tools like case studies and group discussions to enhance understanding. Monitor student progress during classes and provide immediate feedback.
Regular Responsibilities Across the Academic Cycle
Develop and update syllabus-aligned teaching resources, including worksheets and revision guides. Collaborate with the subject coordinator to refine curriculum objectives and assessment methods. Attend faculty meetings to discuss pedagogical strategies and share best practices. Ensure compliance with school policies on grading and student evaluation.
Periodic Responsibilities
Conduct periodic parent-teacher interactions to discuss student performance and areas for improvement. Organize workshops or guest lectures on emerging trends in Accountancy, such as digital accounting software. Participate in school-wide events like science fairs or career guidance sessions where Accountancy topics may be relevant.
Qualification and Experience
Hold a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree with a postgraduate qualification in Accountancy or a related commerce stream. Minimum 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in Accountancy or commerce subjects. Possession of TET/CTET certification is preferred but not mandatory. Strong command of English and Hindi for effective communication with students and parents.
