Teaching Approach

Our Biology Teacher will be expected to utilize smart boards, Google Classroom, and Learning Management Systems (LMS) to create engaging and interactive lessons. They will also be responsible for integrating technology into their teaching practice, including using digital tools to assess student progress and provide feedback.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Biology to classes 11 and 12 in accordance with the CBSE curriculum
- Develop and implement lesson plans that incorporate technology, including smart boards and digital tools
- Utilize Google Classroom and LMS to communicate with students, parents, and colleagues
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Integrate digital tools, such as online simulations and virtual labs, into lessons
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement departmental plans
- Participate in school-wide professional development programs to enhance teaching skills
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance
- Participate in school events and activities, including science fairs and exhibitions
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Biology (M.Sc.)
- B.Ed/D.El.Ed degree from a recognized institution
- TET/CTET certification (not required but preferred)
- 3 years of experience in teaching Biology at the senior secondary level
Preferred Skills
- Digital literacy, including proficiency in using Google Classroom, LMS, and digital tools
- Familiarity with online teaching tools, such as virtual labs and online simulations
- Ability to integrate technology into teaching practice
