Grizzly Vidyalaya is looking for a Post Graduate Trained (PGT) Botany Teacher to join its academic team in Kodarma. The role involves teaching senior secondary students following the CBSE curriculum with a focus on practical Botany and exam-oriented content. Day-to-Day Duties
Plan and deliver Botany lessons for Classes XI and XII, aligning with CBSE guidelines and including NCERT-based activities.
Prepare and maintain lab specimens, charts, and models to support practical understanding of plant morphology and physiology.
Use differentiated instruction—small group teaching, peer learning, and remedial sessions—to accommodate diverse learning speeds.
Set and evaluate regular tests, assignments, and project work to track conceptual clarity and exam readiness.
Conduct botanical field trips within Kodarma’s local flora zones to connect theory with the environment.
Organize inter-house debates and quizzes on environmental conservation to build awareness and engagement.
Collaborate with the science department to integrate Botany with Chemistry and Biology where relevant.
Maintain accurate records of attendance, marks, and feedback for every student.
Eligibility Criteria
Postgraduate degree in Botany or Life Sciences from a recognized university with minimum 55% marks.
Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) with specialization in Science.
Minimum three years of teaching experience in a secondary or senior secondary school.
Familiarity with CBSE curriculum and assessment patterns in Botany.
Preference will be given to candidates with TET or CTET certification.
