About This Role

Organise and conduct regular laboratory sessions that reinforce theoretical concepts and prepare students for practical assessments in Botany. Use simple, cost-effective experiments suited to the school’s laboratory facilities in Chandrodih Koderma.
Mentor newly recruited Botany teachers and trainee educators in effective pedagogy and classroom management. Conduct peer observations and provide constructive feedback to improve teaching standards across the department.
Monitor student progress through periodic assessments and provide timely academic counselling to help learners overcome conceptual gaps. Maintain accurate records of attendance, marks, and feedback in the school’s digital system.
Coordinate with the school administration to organise inter-school Botany quizzes and science exhibitions in Jharkhand. Represent Grizzly Vidyalaya Chandrodih Koderma at regional academic forums and parent-teacher meetings.
Ensure the Botany laboratory is stocked with necessary chemicals, slides, and specimens through regular inventory checks and procurement requests. Train lab assistants in safe handling and storage of materials.
Prepare the annual academic calendar for Botany, including syllabus completion timelines and exam schedules. Submit progress reports to the principal and academic coordinator every term.
Collaborate with the school’s career counselling cell to guide students interested in Botany-related careers, including agriculture, biotechnology, and environmental sciences. Provide references and guidance for competitive exams like NEET and state-level entrance tests.

Required Qualifications
