Business Studies (PGT) Vacancy in Koderma, Kodarma, Jharkhand
GRIZZLY KIDS GRIZZLY PUBLIC SCHOOL jharkhand
Job Description
What It Is Like Here
Grizzly Kids Grizzly Public School Jharkhand sits on the edge of Kodarma’s quiet lanes where the morning mist still lingers when the first auto-rickshaws roll in. Teachers here move between classrooms and corridor discussions without the hurry of a big city, yet the energy is steady because every assembly and parent meet feels like a shared project. The Business Studies department already includes two commerce-trained seniors who swap notes on case studies and mock-stock simulations during the 3:30 p.m. tea at the canteen stall outside the gate.
About This Role
A new PGT Business Studies Teacher Vacancy in Kodarma has opened for a full-time post-graduate with four years of senior-secondary teaching experience. You will shape the Business Studies curriculum, mentor the commerce club, and help students prepare for inter-school business quiz fairs held in nearby Hazaribagh and Dhanbad.

Plan and deliver 20–22 periods each week for Classes XI–XII, aligning lessons to the latest CBSE Business Studies syllabus.
Design and grade unit tests, project assignments, and practical caselets on entrepreneurship and financial markets.
Organize quarterly commerce fairs where students set up mini start-ups and present elevator pitches to local shopkeepers.
Conduct doubt-clearing sessions after school for students who stay on the late bus from nearby villages.
Collaborate with the accountancy teacher to co-host mock board exams with timed answer-sheet checks.
Attend weekly department huddles to review upcoming topics and share new teaching aids like flip-charts or digital PPTs.
Accompany students to inter-school competitions in Ranchi or Bokaro whenever the schedule permits.
Maintain neat record files of lesson plans, attendance, and internal marks for inspection visits.
Eligibility Criteria
Post-graduate degree in Business Administration, Commerce, or Management with a minimum of 55% marks.
Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) from a recognized institution; D.El.Ed holders with two years of senior-secondary teaching experience may also apply.
Four years of full-time teaching experience in Classes XI–XII; experience with CBSE curriculum is strongly preferred.
Knowledge of spoken Hindi and written English sufficient for classroom instruction and report writing.
Perks and Pay
Monthly gross salary ranges from Rs.45,000 to Rs.65,000 depending on experience and additional responsibilities.
School-provided PF, Group Insurance cover, and annual medical reimbursement up to Rs.10,000.
Free lunch in the canteen, subsidized transport for late buses, and an annual book allowance of Rs.2,000 for professional development.
