Day-to-Day Duties
- Teach Computer Science to students of grades 9-12
- Develop and implement lesson plans that integrate technology and digital literacy
- Utilize Google Classroom and other online platforms to facilitate online learning
- Use smart boards and other digital tools to create engaging lessons
- Conduct online assessments and evaluations
- Provide guidance and support to students on coding and programming projects
- Collaborate with other teachers to develop interdisciplinary projects
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and performance
- Participate in school-wide initiatives to improve digital literacy and technology integration
Required Qualifications
The ideal candidate must possess a postgraduate degree in Computer Science or a related field. A Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) is also required. While a Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) or Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) certification is not necessary, it is preferred.
Preferred Skills
The selected candidate should have excellent digital literacy skills, including proficiency in online teaching tools and platforms. Experience with coding and programming languages, such as Scratch, Python, and Java, is also essential. The ability to work effectively in a team and communicate complex technical concepts to students is a must.
Salary and Benefits
The selected candidate will be offered a competitive salary of Rs.45,000 - Rs.55,000 per month.
