Job Overview

Day-to-Day Duties
1. Teach Economics to students at the senior secondary level.
2. Prepare and deliver lesson plans, assessments, and evaluations.
3. Conduct classes, lectures, and discussions on Economics topics.
4. Assign and grade homework, quizzes, and projects.
5. Maintain a well-organized and student-centered classroom environment.
6. Communicate with parents and guardians regarding student progress.
7. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide curriculum.
8. Participate in school events, workshops, and training programs.
9. Perform other duties as assigned by the school administration.
Who Can Apply
Must Have:
- Postgraduate degree in Economics from a recognized university
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree from a recognized institution
- At least 3 years of teaching experience in a school setting
- Good knowledge of Economics curriculum and pedagogy
Good to Have:
- Experience with TET or CTET would be an added advantage
- Familiarity with school management information systems (SMIS)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
