Responsibilities
The PGT Economics Teacher will design and deliver engaging lessons that build analytical and quantitative skills among students. Classroom management will foster a disciplined learning environment, encouraging critical discussions on economic concepts. The teacher will also assess student performance, provide constructive feedback, and participate in academic committees to enhance the school’s curriculum.
Qualification
A postgraduate degree in Economics or a related field is mandatory. Candidates must hold a B.Ed or D.El.Ed to qualify for teaching roles in schools. TET or CTET certification is preferred but not compulsory for this position.
Experience
Candidates should have a minimum of four years of teaching experience in a school setting. Prior exposure to economic theory instruction and student assessment will be advantageous. Experience in a disciplined school environment is desirable.
Salary
The monthly remuneration for this role ranges from Rs.40,000 to Rs.50,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
