Your Students
As a PGT English Teacher at Grizzly Vidyalaya Chandrodih Koderma, you will be working with a diverse group of students, each with their unique strengths and challenges. You will be expected to deliver engaging lessons that cater to different learning levels, including those with special needs. Our inclusive classroom environment encourages students to explore their creativity and develop a love for the English language.
Day-to-Day Duties
As a PGT English Teacher, your day-to-day duties will include:
- Planning and delivering interactive lessons that promote critical thinking and creativity
- Creating engaging lesson plans that cater to different learning styles
- Providing individualized support to students who require extra help
- Developing and implementing formative assessments to monitor student progress
- Collaborating with colleagues to develop and implement departmental plans
- Maintaining accurate records of student progress and attendance
- Participating in departmental meetings and contributing to curriculum development
- Conducting parent-teacher conferences to discuss student progress
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this role, you must possess the following qualifications:
- A postgraduate degree in English or a related field
- A B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree
- A valid TET or CTET certificate (preferably)
Preferred Skills
We are looking for an English Teacher who possesses the following skills:
- Strong knowledge of English language and literature
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students
- Patience and empathy when working with students who require extra support
- Familiarity with inclusive pedagogy and classroom practices
