Role Summary
Grizzly Vidyalaya In Tilaiya Dam,koderma is seeking an experienced and skilled PGT Geography Teacher to join its team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching geography to students in grades 9-12.
Day-to-Day Duties
1. Prepare and deliver lessons on geography topics to students in grades 9-12.
2. Develop and implement curriculum to meet the needs of students with varying learning styles.
3. Assess student progress and provide feedback to improve their understanding of geography concepts.
4. Create engaging and interactive learning materials to enhance student participation.
5. Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and improve teaching methods.
6. Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
7. Participate in parent-teacher conferences to discuss student progress.
8. Stay up-to-date with changes in geography curriculum and education policies.
9. Supervise students during extracurricular activities and events.
Required Qualifications
Must Have:
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed in Geography or related field
- CTET or TET (preferable)
- 4 years of experience in teaching geography in a school setting
- Strong subject matter expertise in geography
Good to Have:
- Master's degree in Geography or related field
- Experience with curriculum development and implementation
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
