Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Zoology lessons to students in grades 9-12
- Develop and implement curriculum that meets the needs of our students and the school's academic goals
- Collaborate with colleagues to provide a comprehensive and supportive learning environment
- Engage with parents and the wider community through regular updates and activities
- Contribute to the development of extracurricular activities, such as science fairs and field trips
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in Zoology and incorporate these into your teaching practices
- Assess and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance
- Participate in school events and activities, such as parent-teacher meetings and staff development workshops
Required Qualifications
- Postgraduate degree in Zoology or a related field (B.Ed/D.El.Ed required for teaching positions)
- Minimum 4 years of experience in teaching Zoology to students in grades 9-12
- Strong understanding of curriculum development and implementation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
