This senior position at Grizzky Kids is designed for an experienced PRT Mathematics Teacher ready to lead the department. Key Responsibilities
Lead the Mathematics curriculum for primary classes, ensuring alignment with CBSE guidelines and Grizzky Kids’ academic vision. Develop monthly teaching plans, create custom worksheets, and introduce hands-on learning tools like abacus and fraction kits for better concept retention. Monitor student progress through weekly assessments and provide remedial support during remedial sessions.
Set annual board result targets and mentor junior teachers to improve individual student outcomes. Conduct monthly department meetings to share best practices and align teaching strategies across classes. Introduce simple classroom experiments and real-life math applications to make abstract concepts tangible for young learners.
Organize inter-house math quizzes and inter-school competitions to build competitive spirit and confidence. Collaborate with the school coordinator to integrate technology tools such as math learning apps and digital whiteboards into daily lessons. Maintain accurate records of lesson plans, assessment reports, and student feedback for continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
Graduation in Mathematics or related field with B.Ed from a recognized institution is mandatory. Minimum five years of teaching experience in primary Mathematics at a reputed school in Jharkhand or neighboring states is required. TET/CTET certification is preferred but not mandatory for this role.
Demonstrated ability to improve student performance in board exams and internal assessments is essential. Familiarity with CBSE Mathematics curriculum and recent pedagogical trends in primary education is highly desirable. Experience in curriculum development or textbook review will be an added advantage.
