Role Summary
Science Teacher Vacancy in Kodarma
We invite applications for a full-time PRT Science Teacher position at St. Xavier High School, Kodarma, Jharkhand. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Science to students from grades 6 to 10.
Key Responsibilities
1. Plan, prepare and deliver Science lessons for students in grades 6 to 10.
2. Develop and implement engaging Science activities and experiments.
3. Assess student progress and provide feedback.
4. Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment.
5. Communicate with parents and colleagues as needed.
6. Participate in school events and activities.
7. Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum.
8. Stay updated on the latest Science developments and best practices.
9. Attend staff meetings and training sessions.
Required Qualifications
Must Have:
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree
- Strong knowledge of Science subject
- Teaching experience (at least 2 years)
- Good communication and organizational skills
Good to Have:
- CTET or TET certification
- Experience in Science teaching in a school setting
- Familiarity with local curriculum and standards
