Key Responsibilities
- Teach Biology to students from Class VI to Class X
- Prepare and deliver lessons on various Biology topics, such as cells, genetics, and ecology
- Conduct lab experiments and activities to illustrate complex Biology concepts
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to improve their understanding of Biology
- Develop and implement curriculum-based lesson plans
- Maintain a well-organized classroom environment that promotes learning
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement school-wide academic programs
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to school-wide decision-making processes
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the school administration
Eligibility Criteria
- Post-graduate degree in Botany, Zoology, or any other relevant subject
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree from a recognized university
- TET or CTET certification (not mandatory)
- 3 years of teaching experience in a school setting
- Strong knowledge of Biology curriculum and pedagogy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Skills
- Strong subject expertise in Biology
- Ability to design and deliver engaging lesson plans
- Experience with lab experiments and activity-based learning
- Familiarity with online resources and educational technology
- Strong organizational and time management skills
Salary and Benefits
The selected candidate will receive a salary of Rs.22,000 - Rs.40,000 per month, depending on experience and qualifications.
