You will also use a range of digital tools and multimedia resources to enhance student engagement and improve language skills.
What You Will Do
* Plan and deliver English language lessons that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities
* Develop and implement curriculum-aligned lesson plans that promote language proficiency and literacy skills
* Assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies to meet individual needs
* Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and creativity
* Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement whole-school English language programs
* Conduct regular parent-teacher conferences to keep families informed of student progress
* Participate in school events and activities that promote English language learning
* Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance
* Update and maintain English language resources and materials for the school library
Eligibility Criteria
* Bachelor's degree in English or a related field (B.Ed/D.El.Ed required)
* Post-graduate degree in English or a related field (M.A. or M.Phil preferred)
* Teaching experience in English language instruction (2+ years required)
* Familiarity with the English language curriculum and assessment frameworks
* Ability to teach English language skills to students in grades 6-10
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Skills
* Knowledge of English language teaching methodologies and best practices
* Experience with digital tools and multimedia resources for English language instruction
* Ability to design and deliver lessons that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities
* Strong organizational and time management skills
* Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and school administrators
Salary and Benefits
* Salary: Rs.20,000 - Rs.30,000 per month
