Day-to-Day Duties
Plan and conduct daily physical education periods for assigned classes with age-appropriate drills and exercises. Organize inter-house sports events and track student participation and performance in athletics, football, volleyball and kabaddi. Maintain accurate attendance records and submit weekly reports to the sports coordinator at St. Xavier High School.
Lead warm-up routines, skill drills and cool-down sessions with enthusiasm and clear instructions. Supervise the use of sports equipment and ensure safety protocols during outdoor activities. Coordinate with the school nurse for health check-ups and fitness assessments twice a year.
Required Qualifications
Post-graduate degree in Physical Education or Sports Science from a recognized university. B.Ed or D.El.Ed in Physical Education with minimum 50% aggregate marks. Two years of full-time teaching experience in a school environment.
Preferred Skills
Familiarity with state-level sports tournaments and local talent scouting in Kodarma. Ability to conduct drills in Hindi and English for effective communication. Experience in organizing school sports days and inter-school competitions.
Perks and Pay
This full-time TGT Physical Education Teacher in Kodarma, Jharkhand will receive a monthly salary between Rs.22,000 and Rs.30,000 based on qualifications and experience.
