About This Role
As a seasoned TGT Physics Teacher, you will play a key role in shaping the academic trajectory of our students at Grizzly Vidyalaya in Koderma, Kodarma, Jharkhand. This senior-level position offers a unique opportunity to take on additional responsibilities, contribute to curriculum design, and mentor junior staff members.
What You Will Do
- Develop and implement engaging Physics curriculum for classes IX to XII.
- Prepare and deliver lectures, conduct practical experiments, and assess student progress.
- Own the Physics department at Grizzly Vidyalaya, ensuring seamless operations and high-quality teaching.
- Mentor junior staff members, providing guidance on teaching methodologies and curriculum implementation.
- Collaborate with the Board of Studies to develop and refine the Physics curriculum.
- Analyze Board results to identify areas of improvement and implement corrective measures.
- Plan and execute extra-curricular activities to foster student interest in Physics.
- Attend departmental meetings, contribute to decision-making, and implement departmental plans.
- Participate in professional development programs to enhance teaching skills and stay updated on curriculum changes.
- Ensure adherence to school policies, guidelines, and safety protocols in the Physics laboratory.
Required Qualifications
To excel in this role, you must possess a B.Ed degree and a minimum of 5 years of teaching experience in Physics. A postgraduate degree in Physics or a related field is highly desirable. While a TET or CTET certification is preferred, it is not mandatory for this position.
