What You Will Do
Prepare and deliver daily Sanskrit lessons aligned with the CBSE curriculum while adapting content for mixed proficiency levels in Kodarma. Use storytelling, chanting, and simple grammar games to build confidence in spoken and written Sanskrit among students who may feel intimidated by the script. Provide individual support during remedial sessions for learners struggling with declensions and sandhi exercises.

Organise monthly Sanskrit assemblies where students present short dramas or shloka recitals, giving quieter learners a chance to participate without pressure. Maintain a resource corner in the classroom with flashcards, audio clips of correct pronunciation, and illustrated storybooks in Sanskrit to reinforce learning outside formal lessons. Collaborate with Hindi teachers to highlight overlaps between the two languages, helping students see Sanskrit as familiar rather than foreign.

Collate monthly progress reports not just on marks but on participation in oral activities, showing parents how their child is developing listening and recitation skills. Work with the school counsellor to identify students who may need extra encouragement due to learning differences or anxiety about language acquisition. Attend bi-weekly subject team meetings to share successful classroom strategies observed in other sections.

Who Can Apply
Applicants must hold a postgraduate degree in Sanskrit and a B.Ed or D.El.Ed from a recognised institution. A minimum of two years of full-time teaching experience at the secondary level is required. Prior experience teaching in Jharkhand or Bihar will be an advantage, though not mandatory.
