Role Summary
Grizzly Kids Grizzly Public School Jharkhand is looking for a TGT Sanskrit Teacher to join its modern, tech-integrated classroom in Kodarma. The school uses smart boards, Google Classroom, and a school LMS to blend traditional learning with digital tools. A postgraduate in Sanskrit with a B.Ed/D.El.Ed is required, and prior experience of four years in teaching Sanskrit at the secondary level is essential.
Pedagogy and Tools
The school uses interactive smart boards for Sanskrit lessons, allowing students to visualize grammar charts and shlokas in real time. Google Classroom is the primary platform for assignments, quizzes, and feedback on Sanskrit recitations and writing tasks. The school’s LMS hosts curated digital libraries of Sanskrit texts, audio lessons, and practice exercises for students across grades VI to X.
What You Will Do
Teach Sanskrit to classes VI to X using smart boards and digital resources to enhance pronunciation and understanding of shlokas. Prepare weekly lesson plans aligned with the school’s LMS and share them on Google Classroom for students to access anytime. Conduct online and offline quizzes through the LMS to assess grammar, vocabulary, and comprehension of Sanskrit texts.
Create and upload audio-visual aids such as animated stories of mythological characters and pronunciation guides for Vedic chants. Organize virtual Sanskrit debates and elocution competitions using Google Meet for inter-house events. Use the school’s digital attendance and performance tracking system to maintain records of student participation and progress in Sanskrit.
Collaborate with the IT team to troubleshoot basic technical issues related to smart boards and LMS during classes. Attend monthly digital pedagogy workshops to stay updated on new tools for teaching Sanskrit effectively.
Required Qualifications
Postgraduate degree in Sanskrit with a minimum of 55% marks from a recognized university. B.Ed or D.El.Ed from an NCTE-recognized institution. Four years of full-time teaching experience in Sanskrit at the secondary level in a school environment.
