Day-to-Day Duties
- Prepare and deliver Social Science lessons to students, incorporating a range of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles.
- Develop and implement curriculum-aligned lesson plans and assessments to ensure academic excellence.
- Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement interdisciplinary projects and activities.
- Provide individualized support and guidance to students, as needed.
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the development of school policies and programs.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay updated on best practices in Social Science education.
Required Qualifications
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:
- A post-graduate degree in Social Science or a related field (M.A. or M.Sc.)
- A Bachelor's degree in Education (B.Ed.) or a related field (D.El.Ed.)
- A valid TET or CTET certification is preferred but not mandatory
- A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in Social Science, preferably in a school setting
