About This Role
We seek a skilled and dynamic TGT Social Science Teacher to join our team at St. Xavier High School in Kodarma. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Social Science to students from Classes 6 to 10. Day-to-Day Duties
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans for Social Science classes
- Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to monitor student progress
- Prepare and distribute study materials, worksheets, and assignments for students
- Conduct extracurricular activities and workshops to promote Social Science learning
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide initiatives
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and assessment results
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to keep them updated on student progress
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to school decision-making processes
Required Qualifications
To be eligible for this role, you must possess a B.Ed/D.El.Ed degree with a specialization in Social Science. A post-graduate degree in Social Science or a related field is preferred. Additionally, you should have at least 2 years of teaching experience in a school setting. A TET/CTET certification is not mandatory, but it is highly preferred.
