Delhi Public School Pakur invites fresh B.Ed graduates to join as PRT English Teachers. No prior classroom experience is needed, only a passion for teaching English to young learners. The school provides structured training and continuous mentorship to help new teachers settle in smoothly.
What You Will Do
Plan and deliver English lessons for classes 1 to 5 using activity-based methods. Create simple worksheets, flashcards, and storytelling sessions to build vocabulary and grammar. Attend weekly teacher training sessions and work under the guidance of senior educators. Organize morning assembly speeches, poem recitations, and language games to make learning engaging. Prepare monthly progress reports for each student and share feedback with parents during PTMs. Collaborate with the English department to align lesson plans with school themes. Participate in cultural fests and inter-house competitions to strengthen student confidence.
Required Qualifications
Graduation in English or related field with B.Ed/D.El.Ed is mandatory. Fresh B.Ed graduates are encouraged to apply. Candidates appearing for TET/CTET will be given preference during shortlisting. Familiarity with local languages like Hindi or Santhali is an added advantage for communication with students.
