Delhi Public School | Pakur seeks a dedicated PRT Evs Teacher to inspire young minds with hands-on environmental education. This role focuses on nurturing students’ awareness of nature, sustainability, and ecological responsibility through engaging, field-based learning. The PRT Evs Teacher will lead curriculum development for Environmental Studies (Evs) across grades, ensuring alignment with national education standards. Collaboration with science and social science teachers will enhance interdisciplinary learning opportunities.
Subject-specific duties involve teaching core concepts such as biodiversity, climate change, and renewable energy through experiments, discussions, and real-world case studies. The teacher must also mentor students in organizing school cleanliness drives and organizing community awareness campaigns. Field trips to local forests, farms, or recycling centers will be part of the teaching experience.
Delhi Public School | Pakur expects a PRT Evs Teacher who is passionate about environmental stewardship and eager to mentor students in sustainable practices. The ideal candidate will demonstrate creativity in lesson planning, adaptability in diverse classroom settings, and a strong commitment to fostering lifelong environmental consciousness. Experience in teaching environmental studies or related subjects is preferred, though not mandatory.
To qualify, the candidate must hold a graduate degree with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. A minimum of three years of teaching experience, preferably in schools, is required.
