Role

Qualifications
A graduate degree in dance or a related field is essential. Possession of a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is preferred. While TET/CTET is not mandatory, experience in teaching dance or arts subjects will be an asset. A strong foundation in various dance forms—such as Bharatanatyam, Kathak, or contemporary styles—is highly beneficial.
Experience
Two years of teaching experience, preferably in schools or dance studios, is required. Experience in classroom management, student motivation, and curriculum adaptation for diverse learners is valuable. Familiarity with school policies on discipline and student welfare is important.
Responsibilities
You will prepare and deliver structured dance lessons, aligning with school curriculum guidelines. Assess student progress through practical demonstrations and feedback sessions. Participate in school events where dance performances are organized, ensuring high-quality presentations. Maintain organized teaching materials, including props, music, and dance routines.
