About This Role
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced PGT Chemistry Teacher to join our team at J.s Public School in Chitarpur, Ramgarh, Jharkhand. As a PGT Chemistry Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching Chemistry to students from Class 9 to 12 and will also be required to conduct experiments and demonstrations to make learning more engaging and interactive.
Day-to-Day Duties
- Prepare and deliver lessons to students in Chemistry, following the curriculum and syllabus set by the school.
- Conduct experiments and demonstrations to make learning more engaging and interactive.
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to improve their understanding of Chemistry concepts.
- Develop and maintain a safe and clean laboratory environment for students to conduct experiments.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum changes.
- Participate in school events, meetings, and other activities as required.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
- Prepare and administer Chemistry papers for internal and external assessments.
- Develop and implement innovative teaching methods to improve student engagement and motivation.
- Conduct regular assessments to evaluate student understanding of Chemistry concepts.
Eligibility Criteria
- Postgraduate degree in Chemistry from a recognized university.
- B.Ed./D.El.Ed. degree from a recognized university.
- 3 years of experience in teaching Chemistry in a school setting.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of Chemistry concepts and curriculum.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
Salary and Benefits
The salary for this role will be Rs.40,000 - Rs.65,000 per month, depending on experience and qualifications.
