Ala Anglaise School Jharkhand seeks an accomplished PGT Computer Science Teacher to assume a senior position in our esteemed institution. As a key member of the department, you will be responsible for spearheading the Computer Science curriculum, mentoring junior staff, and driving academic excellence.
What You Will Do
- Develop, implement, and evaluate the Computer Science curriculum for students from classes VI to XII.
- Provide high-quality instruction to students, fostering a learning environment that encourages critical thinking and problem-solving.
- Mentor and guide junior staff members, sharing your expertise and experience to enhance their teaching skills.
- Analyze student performance data to identify areas of improvement and develop strategies for enhancement.
- Collaborate with colleagues to design and deliver interdisciplinary projects and activities.
- Stay abreast of curriculum developments, pedagogical innovations, and technological advancements in Computer Science.
- Participate in departmental meetings, contributing to policy-making and decision-making processes.
- Foster partnerships with local industry professionals to provide students with practical experience and networking opportunities.
- Contribute to the development of school policies and procedures related to Computer Science education.
- Participate in school events, workshops, and conferences to enhance your professional growth and share best practices.
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for this role, you must possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, along with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed certification. A minimum of 5 years of teaching experience is required, with a proven track record of academic excellence. Preference will be given to candidates with NET or SET clearance.
